The First Indo-US International Conference on Polymers for Packaging Applications (ICPPA 2012) will be jointly held by the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, the Dept. of Grain Science and Industry of the Kansas State University, the North Carolina State University, and the IMSE from 31 March – 2 April 2012 in Kottayam, Kerala, India. The conference will be dedicated to food, non-food, and industrial packaging applications of polymers, blends, nanostructured materials, macro, micro and nanocomposites, renewable and biodegradable materials. The organisers have issued a call for papers. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 24 February 2012.
