The 26th international exhibition on plastics and rubber industries Chinaplas will open its doors from 18 – 21 April 2012 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China. The event is Asia's largest and the world's second largest plastics and rubber trade show. According to the organiser Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., Chinaplas 2011 recorded over 94,000 visitors of which 20 % came from 138 foreign countries. The organiser expects next year's event to reach a new height, occupying more than 200,000 m2 of floor space and gathering over 2,600 exhibitors. Adsale further estimates the event will attract more than 100,000 visitors.
