Behn Meyer: Speciality chemicals for WPC and plastic

At K 2010, the Behn Meyer Europe GmbH will present its portfolio of speciality chemicals for the plastics and rubber industry. Being part of the Behn Meyer Group, the distributor serves 17 European countries through its offices in Germany and the Netherlands. During the last years the company has expanded its activities offering today additives for the WPC and plastic compounding industry.

Lubricants based on renewable raw material for WPC applications have been developed by Performance Additives, part of the Behn Meyer Group. In addition to lubricants, the company also serves the WPC industry with coupling agents, antioxidants, UV absorber, colour masterbatches, and flame-retardants.
Impact modifiers form an integrate part of its additives portfolio for polyamides. Produced by Auserpolimeri they are complemented by processing aids like Ultra-Plast XP 235, flame retardant masterbatches as well as antioxidants and stabilisers.

Behn Meyer also offers titanium dioxide, impact modifiers, and plasticisers to the PVC industry. Furthermore, the company has recently introduced flame retardant masterbatches free of halogen and antimony trioxide, which have been especially designed for polyolefin applications, like PP pipes.
