CTS: New lightweight “green” TPEs
The mechanical and physical properties of the new material remain comparable to the existing one using virgin raw materials, but thanks to 10 % less specific gravity, the "green" TPE delivers an additional ecological benefit by reducing the weight and therefore the fuel consumption of cars. This positive result is issued from the "Sustainability Research Program" engaged by CTS to evaluate every new raw material that will contribute to increase the sustainability.
The consumer application market is another key target for the "green" Téfabloc compounds. As an example CTS will distribute Téfabloc erasers to visitors at K 2010.
