Marubeni

Marubeni, one of Japan’s largest Sogo Shoshas (Japanese: General Trading Houses), showcases at K 2010 Nofalloy TZ TPEs supplied by NOF Corporation.

These compounds are said to offer superior high temperature performance (up to 200 °C/70 h according to Class F/ASTM D2000) combined with very good oil resistance (Class K/ASTM D2000) and good rubber properties. They are intended to be used as a replacement for rubber in automotive sealing and ducting applications.

Marubeni Europe Plc is one of the leading suppliers of styrenic block copolymers; SEEPS, SEPS and SEBS to the European plastic and rubber industries. In the last few years, Marubeni Europe has  expanded its range of distributed products with a variety of innovative TPE materials such as light and scratch resistant TPEs and more recently (meth)acrylic TPEs (from Kuraray, see above).
