IPL: Hoses and connection systems for demanding conveying applications

IPL focuses on three main core business sectors:

• The company manufactures hoses in regular to heavy duty designs with wall thicknesses up to 3 mm and antistatic properties for abrasive applications such as the conveying of granules, sawdust, pellets or street cleaning.
• For the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, the company offers hoses according to USP Class VI, FDA, and the European directives for pharmaceutical and food substances.
• Furthermore, IPL supplies high-temperature resistant hoses for sucking off hot smoke and fumes in the chemical industry, exhaust gases in the automotive and plastics industry, as well as for industrial ventilation.

At the trade fair, IPL will also present the reusable Safeflex connection system for the pharmaceutical industry and the universal Safelock connection system. Safeflex are stainless steel fittings that offer exactly the same performance as crimped fittings. The advantage is their reusability. With its Safe Retention System (SRS) the connection point between the hose and fitting is fully integrated. Thus, clogging and dirt accumulation can be avoided. Safelock is a connection system that is suitable for externally corrugated hoses, without the need of dedicated threads. The patented "lock" system joins the internal fitting with the outside ferrules and provides for safety and quick
installation.
