Bayer names Marc Daniel Block as director, regional key account sales for CAS
Marc Daniel Block has been appointed as director, regional key account sales for Bayer MaterialScience LLC's Coatings, Adhesives, Specialties (CAS) business unit. In this role, Block leads the CAS regional key account sales team in the USA. He also serves as head of the technical sales team and the Single Point of Contact office in the NAFTA region.
Jon Huntsman, Jr. appointed as new board member of Huntsman
Huntsman announced the appointment of Jon Huntsman, Jr., 51, as a new director to its Board of Directors effective 1 February 2012. He will serve for a term that expires at the company's 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The board now comprises ten directors, six of whom are independent directors.

JPS Industries names new President of Stevens Urethane Division
James (Jim) Coletta has joined JPS Industries, Inc. as President of the Stevens Urethane Division. He takes overs this position from Chuck Tutterow, who is serving as both President of Stevens Urethane and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of JPS Industries since 2005. Tutterow will continue to work full time as the CFO of the company.

Obituary for Dr. John Timberlake
Dr. John Timberlake, Technical Director of Foam Supplies, Inc. (FSI) since April 2005, has died on 9 March 2011 at the age of 63. Timberlake graduated from North Carolina State University with Honours in Chemistry, and later attained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 1976.
