Jerry MacCleary named President and CEO NAFTA region for Bayer MaterialScience LLC

Bayer MaterialScience LLC has named Jerry MacCleary, 58, President and CEO for the NAFTA region, effective June 1, 2012. He assumes the leadership of the company’s operations in the region from Greg Babe, who recently announced his planned retirement from Bayer. In addition, MacCleary will retain his leadership of the Polyurethanes marketing and business development activities of BMS for the NAFTA region, a responsibility that he has held since 2004.

Bayer names Marc Daniel Block as director, regional key account sales for CAS

Marc Daniel Block has been appointed as director, regional key account sales for Bayer MaterialScience LLC's Coatings, Adhesives, Specialties (CAS) business unit. In this role, Block leads the CAS regional key account sales team in the USA. He also serves as head of the technical sales team and the Single Point of Contact office in the NAFTA region.

Jon Huntsman, Jr. appointed as new board member of Huntsman

Huntsman announced the appointment of Jon Huntsman, Jr., 51, as a new director to its Board of Directors effective 1 February 2012. He will serve for a term that expires at the company's 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The board now comprises ten directors, six of whom are independent directors.

Changes in the Board of Executive Directors of BASF

New Managing Director at Biesterfeld Polska

KraussMaffei AG names new Chief Executive Officer

KraussMaffei AG has appointed Jan Siebert as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective from 1 January 2012. He will succeed Dr. Dietmar Straub, who is managing the activities of KraussMaffei Group since April 2007 and who is leaving the company at his own request on 31 December 2011.

JPS Industries names new President of Stevens Urethane Division

James (Jim) Coletta has joined JPS Industries, Inc. as President of the Stevens Urethane Division. He takes overs this position from Chuck Tutterow, who is serving as both President of Stevens Urethane and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of JPS Industries since 2005. Tutterow will continue to work full time as the CFO of the company.

FXI names new President and CEO

John Cowles has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of FXI and a member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. He succeeds Jack Johnson, who is retiring after six years and two tours of duty but will remain on the Board as Non-Executive Chairman.
