Wie die beiden Autoren im Vorwort betonen, verzichtet dieses Buch auf "Formelballast", um eine möglichst praxisnahe Beschreibung des aktuellen anwendungstechnischen Stands der Einfärbung mit Masterbatches zu geben. Nach einer Einleitung über das Thema Extrudieren - Extruderbauarten folgt ein Kapitel, in dem die Fertigung von Masterbatch und Compounds erklärt wird, Farbe und Farbmittel sowie Farbmessung bilden einen weiteren Schwerpunkt, schließlich wird im letzten Abschnitt auf die Anfrage an den Masterbatch-Hersteller eingegangen.
Die Autoren sind beide Mitarbeiter der Fa. Lifocolor-Farben GmbH, Lichtenfels.
