Dow Corning to spend USD5 million on expansion

MIDLAND, Michigan - Dow Corning Corp. plans to expand its plant in Kendallville, Ind., adding 5,000 square feet, equipment and about 20 jobs to its staff of 100.

About USD5 million will be earmarked for the expansion at the Dow Corning’s main compounding unit, which supplies thermoset products to the North American market. The project is expected to be completed by 2010.
