Personnel changes at Dow Corning

Robert D. Hansen has been elected as new Chief Executive Officer of Dow Corning.

Stephanie A. Burns remains Chairman. Hansen, 50, has been employed by Dow Corning for 29 years and was named President in November 2010. He will continue to serve as President.

Furthermore, Jeroen Bloemhard has been appointed Business Vice President and Global Executive Director for the company's Xiameter brand.
