Smithers Rapra invites to the two-day training course Polyurethanes: An Introduction – Science, Applications, Technology which will be held two times this year in Shawbury, Shropshire, UK. Available course dates are 16 – 17 March 2010 and 19 – 20 October 2010.

This course provides a simplified explanation of the manufacture of polyurethanes, the chemistry, and how additives are used to achieve the modifications that make these materials so versatile. The structure of the polyurethanes supply chain will also be explained in relation to the process stage and application.

The course is intended as an introduction for people who are either newcomers to the PU industry or whose core business lies outside PU manufacture who supply into or purchase from PU manufacturers and require a reasonable technical appreciation of the industry.
