DuPont names new Global Automotive Technology Director
Glasscock will work with global customer and application development teams across the 13 DuPont business units to guide medium- and long-range technical programmes. Primary efforts include enhancing hybrid and electric vehicle battery and insulation systems, renewable and recyclable materials, as well as advanced metals replacement programmes to help significantly reduce vehicle weight and improve fuel economy.
Glasscock joined DuPont in 1990 working in Fluorochemicals R&D, then Corporate Engineering. In 1994, Glasscock joined what is now the DuPont Performance Polymers business. Most recently, he held responsibility as Global Technical Services Manager.
