StarMed TPEs for medical applications

The new StarMed TPEs from Star Thermoplastics, Broadview, IL, USA, are designed to offer a lower cost alternative for incorporating or switching TPEs in medical products.

They are offered in a hardness range from 8 Shore A to 60 Shore D. Applications, suggested by the company, range from physical therapy straps and medical pads to PVC replacement tubing applications in that, depending on the grade, they can be injection moulded or extruded.
