DESCRIPTION:<p>The 13th annual Automotive TPO Global Conference, the leading automotive olefins forum sponsored by the Detroit Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), will be held 2 – 5 October 2011. For the first time in the event's history, this year's conference will be held at a new venue: the Troy-Marriott in Troy, MI, USA.</p><p>Since 1998, SPE volunteers have organised the conference to update attendees on the latest developments in rigid and elastomeric thermoplastic olefins. The show typically features 40+ technical presentations, panel discussions, keynote speakers, networking receptions, and exhibits that highlight advances in olefin materials, processes, and applications technologies as well as a growing range of TPEs and TPVs. Technical sessions on Materials Development, Polypropylene Compounds, Applications Development, Surface Enhancements, and TPO/TPE Interfaces are planned for this year's programme as well as a new session on Polyolefin Foam &amp; Processes.</p>
