The International Rubber Conference (IRC) will take place from 21 – 24 May 2012 on the island of Jeju in Korea. The event is organised by The Rubber Society of Korea in partnership with the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO). Presentations are expected on: seismic isolators, bridge bearings and other structural applications of rubbers, rubber nanocomposites, new technologies based on electro-active rubbers, blends and compounding, processing, vulcanisation, simulation, mould design, surfaces/interfaces, adhesion, reinforcing systems, characterisation, testing and evaluation. In addition, the event will feature two special sessions on “Green elastomers” and “TPO in automotive applications”.
