Tire Technology Expo 2014
The Tire Technology Expo will open its doors from 11 – 13 February 2014 in Cologne, Germany. According to the organiser Ukip Media & Events Ltd., the event has grown in strength and stature every year since it was started in Europe 14 years ago and today is a leading tyre design and tyre manufacturing exhibition and conference. More than 200 exhibitors are expected at the 2014 event. The exhibition offers a technology showcase covering raw materials and equipment through the complete spectrum of the tyre manufacturing process as well as services. In addition to the main Tire Technology Conference, in total six short courses will be offered: Commencing one day before the expo and conference, the four-day “40th Tire Mechanics Short Course” of the University of Akron, the two-day “Prediction of Rubber Behaviour for Engineering Design” course, the two-day “Tire Mathematical Modelling Course” of the Coventry University, the two-day “Basic Rubber Compounding Course”, the one-day “Tire Regulations Short Course”, as well as the new three-day “Intelligent Vehicle-and-Tire Systems for Energy Efficiency & Safety” course will be held. Furthermore, the annual “Tire Technology International Awards” will be presented.
