Two main process innovations shown by injection moulding machinery producer Arburg on its stand at Fakuma 2012 were a new PVSG process combining expanded polypropylene (EPP) particle foam with compact thermoplastic within the injection mould and the introduction of long fibre reinforcement into a polypropylene moulding while retaining exceptionally long glass fibre length.
