At its Voronezh production site in South Eastern Russia Sibur currently produces approximately 30,000 t/y of SBS polymers. The products are marketed under the trademarks DST-30-01 and DST-30R-01.
The DST-30R-01 (radial) series consist of materials with very good hardness and heat resistance; they are mainly used in roofing bitumen compounds. Due to their elastic properties and tensile performance, the DST-30-01 (linear) materials traditionally have been used in polymer-bitumen binder for roads, bituminous grouts, and ­adhesives.

Sibur says, that customers also often combine both materials in their compounds, to benefit from the advantages of both. The products are supplied in powder (particle size up to 2.5 mm) and granulated form (particle size up to 6.0 mm).
