The 22^nd international trade fair for plastics processing Fakuma will open its doors from 16 – 20 October 2012 at the Friedrichshafen Exhibion Centre. The trade show is characterised by a wide range of processing machines and related peripherals, finished products, raw and auxiliary materials, automation solutions, and services. Furthermore, the exhibition will focus on production techniques, special procedures, automation solutions, material-reducing control techniques as well as on energy-saving techniques. Interesting forums, workshops, and special shows will round out the spectrum of offerings presented at Fakuma 2012. According to the German trade fair organiser P. E. Schall, 1,672 exhibitors from 33 nations and about 44,800 visitors from 119 countries attended the 2011 event. The exhibitor list for this year's event already includes 1,276 companies (as of 14 June 2012).
