The Tire Technology Expo will open its doors from 5 – 7 February 2013 in Cologne, Germany. Now in its thirteenth year, the event is Europe's leading international tyre design and tyre manufacturing exhibition and conference, according to the organiser Ukip Media & Events Ltd. The exhibition offers a technology showcase covering raw materials and equipment through the full spectrum of the tyre manufacturing process as well as services. Commencing one day before the expo and main conference, the four-day 39th Tire Mechanics Short Course of the University of Akron, the two-day Rubber Materials Short Course of the Queen Mary University of London and TARRC, the two-day Basic Rubber Compounding Course of Polymer Recyclers Ltd., the two-day Tire Mathematical Modelling Course of the Coventry University as well as the one-day Tire Regulations Short Couse will be held. Furthermore, the annual “Tire Technology International Awards” will be presented.
