The 14^th international plastic trade fair Feiplastic (2012 Brasilplast has been renamed into Feiplastic) will open its gates from 20 – 24 May 2013 in in São Paulo, Brazil. Organised by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, the event is expected to bring together 1,400 exhibitors, occupying 85,000 m² of exhibition space, and 70,000 visitors (Brasilplast 2011 had 1,300 exhibitors and 65,000 visitors). According to the organiser, today the event is considered the main fair of the sector in Latin America and one of the five biggest events of the year in terms of occupied area and number of participating companies. The scope of the trade show includes the entire plastic industry production chain, from raw materials to moulds and tools, machines and equipment, measuring, control and automation technology, end products, as well as services.
