DESCRIPTION:<p>The first International Exhibition on Plastics &amp; Polymers in Automotive, <strong>Autoplas 2010,</strong> will open its doors from <strong>26 – 28 November 2010</strong> in <strong>Pune,</strong> India.\r\nThe Indian automotive industry is growing at about 11.5 % CAGR in the last 5 years. The country is today the largest producer of 2-wheelers and the second largest 2-wheeler worldwide. The production of the local automotive industry is expected to reach 2.5 million passenger cars by 2011 and 4.5 million by 2015. The Pune region is the fastest growing automotive hub in India and currently produces 25 % (1.9 million) of all types of vehicles in the country. Forecasts expect vehicle production in the Pune region to increase to 4 million units and auto components exports to reach USD 8 billion by 2015.
