Rim Polymers announces globalisation strategy at PU Tech 2011

Rim Polymers Industries Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of CEH Group with headquarters in Singapore, announced a global expanding programme in the next three years for its full range of PU dispensing machines and dry plants for various applications.

According to Rim Polymers, it has so far established a sales and after sales network all over the Asia pacific region (covering 14 countries, including China, South Korea, Japan, Asean region, and India). The company also has two manufacturing plants in Singapore and China. Last year it has also established a sales office in Moscow, Russia.

In the future the company intends to establish a full set up in all the BRIC countries (i. e. Brazil, Russia, India, and China). Accordingly, Brazil will be the next target market, says Rim Polymers.

At PU Tech 2011, Rim Polymers exhibited the GMA brand PU technology for automotive parts, refrigerator and freezers, solar heater and cold room panel applications. The company says its following products and technologies enjoyed good feedback from end users:

• Spray PU skin coating for automotive dashboards;
• Foam-in-place plant for car head rests;
• Steering wheel plant for cars;
• Carpet underlays for cars;
• Glass encapsulation and sun-roofs for cars;
• Cold room panel plant (up to 13 m length);
• Complete solar heater plant;
• Special plant for composite production for the aerospace and automotive sectors.
