The Cannon Group will be exhibiting several innovative solutions at K 2010. In dedicated “technological islands”, the company will present its various ranges of equipment including the entire series of high pressure dosing units, low pressure, multi-component mixing heads, suitable for gaskets.
The ESTRIM (epoxy structural reaction injection moulding) process innovation, recently announced, is based upon a mix of technologies that allow faster cycle times and the automated production of composites. The new JL mixing head, with its novel "L-shaped" head without injectors is available for use in a wide range of outputs.
Solutions for continuous and single block flexible slabstock production will be on show including the latest versions of the CarDio, C-Max and Single Block machines, while a separate "island" will be dedicated to the plants for continuous sandwich panel production. Plants suitable for using PUR, PIR or phenolic foams, as well as offering the versatility to handle mineral wool are available. New solutions to producing flat, large and curved panels will also be presented.
The use of co-injection and reinforced spray technologies are finding a growing number of uses in industrial processes. Solistream offers a method of dosing fillers and solids directly into the mixing head.
The group's latest achievements have been in the field of foam insulated pipelines used mainly for district heating and in the oil and gas industries. Cannon offers both continuous and discontinuous technologies using spray or injection methods. Finally, the complete range of Cannon plants for the application of PU and composites in the automotive and refrigeration industries will also be showcased.
