The Kürten-based German company ISL-Chemie GmbH & Co. KG is demonstrating its new developments based on innovative raw materials and the advanced versions of its proven products at this year’s K 2013 from 16 – 23 October 2013 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company is also presenting its competence in the field of complex dispersion of solids in liquid binders.
For the first time ISL-Chemie is presenting itself under the umbrella of the Berlac Group at K2013. At the 100 m² stand of the Swiss group, the specialists in coating and colouring of plastics are greeting visitors of the fair with quality products and services.
Dispersing services for sophisticated solutions
Dispersing solids in liquid binders is a complex process that demands special knowledge about the raw materials used, such as pigments as well as their characteristics and requirements. ISL-Chemie offers special solutions for difficult dispersing tasks tailored to the customer’s specific needs. The company says it disposes of a variety of machinery with the right unit for any dispersing project. Comprehensive laboratory services round off the portfolio.
In-mould coatings for outdoor applications
For many years now, the Isothan product series has been successfully used for coating polyurethane moulded parts for automotive interior applications. Thanks to further developments of these in-mould coatings they are now available for outdoor use as well. Isothan-IMC coatings offer extensive design possibilities as well as good surface protection for the final product, and are available in water-based and solvent-based versions.
In-Mould-“Complete”: Service from development to demoulding
ISL-Chemie offers extended service for Isothan in-mould coatings. Specialists in laboratory, development and application technology take care of the customer’s needs for everything related to in-mould coating with Isothan products. The in-mould coatings can, for example, be precisely adjusted to the customer’s current specifications. If desired, the company also provides customers with advice and support on introducing in-mould technology.
Phthalate-free colour pastes for sensitive applications
With the new Isocolor-HD series of colour pastes, ISL-Chemie offers a high degree of safety in processing and use. By using the plasticizer Hexamoll Dinch from BASF in conjunction with proven manufacturing methods, the phthalate-free colour paste series is especially suited to sensitive PVC applications involving close contact with humans, such as children’s toys for example.
ISL-Chemie is exhibiting at K 2013 in hall 7.1, stand D20, of Berlac Group.
