VersaFlex and Raven Lining Systems complete merger

Effective from 1 January 2018, VersaFlex Inc. and Raven Lining Systems have merged into one company, combining expertise in polyurea, polyurethane, epoxy and cementitious technologies. Financial details of the merger agreement were not disclosed.

The company’s plan is to combine VersaFlex’s Polyurea University with Raven’s Certified Applicator Program to develop an industry leading training and technical support programme. Both VersaFlex and Raven are ISO 9001:2008 certified for operations. VersaFlex brings the additional quality strength of being ISO 9001:2008 certified for design.

“This is truly a strategic merger of brands, leadership, products and service, which will result in a stronger combined company to meet the specialty protective lining and rehabilitation challenges that are ahead,” said VersaFlex President Joe Haydu. “We anticipate completing the integration of Raven’s Broken Arrow facility into VersaFlex’s Kansas City, KS facility by the end of the year.”

VersaFlex is a specialist in 100 % solids pure polyurea based technology, which is used in the protection and repair of industrial, commercial and maintenance environments. This includes Bridge Preservation, which focuses on the protection and rehabilitation of highways, bridges, tunnels, and rail infrastructure; SL series joint filler for commercial and industrial flooring applications, and FlexTain pre-sprayed liners for secondary containment.

Raven Lining Systems is a specialist in high build 100 % solids epoxy linings for the protection and rehabilitation of waste-water, water and storm-water infrastructure. Its portfolio includes a broad range of speciality engineered solutions for the industrial, OEM and oil & gas markets. Its products are delivered through a network of certified applicators.
