Arburg expands production capacities in Germany
Arburg will invest a high double-digit million euro sum in the construction of a new 18,000 m2 assembly hall in Lossburg, Germany. According to the mechanical engineering company, the new Assembly Hall 23 will be opened due to the continuing good economic situation and will significantly expand production capacities at the parent company’s site for the next few years.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2019. The company had already carried out important preparatory work for new infrastructure during the construction of Hall 21 at the turn of the millennium. As a consequence, it is now possible to proceed fairly rapidly with the construction project and to aim for a completion date in 2020, said the company.
