Sonderhoff goes China

Sonderhoff, Cologne, Germany, the market leader in chemical and technical sealing systems, and EDF, Hörbranz, Austria, as leading producer of precision low pressure mixing and dosing equipment, will be exhibit system solutions for foamed seals, adhesion and casting at the leading Asian fair for the international plastics industry, Chinaplas in Shanghai during 26-29 April 2006. Apart from the renowned international automotive suppliers, manufacturers of lights, electronics and packaging count among Sonderhoff’s customers in Asia. The worldwide largest producer of electrical cabinets – Rittal, Herborn, Germany, – produces the panels for its cabinets also in China with Sonderhoff foamed polyurethane sealing and EDF mixing and dosing equipment. Sonderhoff and EDF, that both belong to the Westhoff group, present the latest generation DM 403 mixing and dosing equipment in the German pavilion in Hall W2, Stand J 05 with a live demonstration of the application of foamed seals on powder coated and stainless steel cabinet panels from Rittal. The Westhoff group, that has been operating successfully in Japan for many years, will also be represented in China through its own subsidiary. The new Sonderhoff China company will take on the sale of Sonderhoff polyurethane and silicone components, as well as the EDF mixing and dosing equipment. In addition, Chinese customers will be able to be provided locally with spare parts, technical service and locally foamed sample parts. The Westhoff Group’s strategy for Asia involves a plan to systematically expand activities into Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and India.
