At the Brabender stand the focus will be on a proven “all-rounder”, the Plastograph EC Plus. The torque rheometer will be exhibited in combination with the measuring mixer 50 EHT. As a modular drive unit for various measuring mixers or measuring extruders, the Plastograph EC Plus is suitable for testing the processability of a wide range of different plasticisable materials.

Brabender's portfolio also includes other measuring mixers as well as single- and twin screw extruders in the form of a compact solution or as a front-end measuring add-on for the Plastograph EC Plus or the Plasti-Corder Lab-Station. The company also supplies a diverse range of downstream equipment for laboratory-scale extrusion processes, e. g. for transporting, cooling, granulating/pelletising and winding extruded materials. Special solutions for determining moisture and density, characterising carbon black and silica as well as for film production and analysis round out the product range.

Brabender Messtechnik is focusing on residual moisture analyses with its Aquatrac Station at the trade show. Based on the principle of capacitive dew point measurement, the station operates highly accurately and delivers results in a matter of minutes – without involving any reagents, carrier gases or consumables. Other instruments on show will be the Aquatrac-3E, a classic meter for measuring residual moisture in plastics as well as the TSSR-Meter – an anisothermal stress relaxation tester for characterising TPE, polymers and elastomers.
