PSE Europe 2019 scores with high quality and in-depth expert talks
From 26 – 27 March 2019, the international PU industry met for PSE Europe at the MOC Munich, Germany. Once again, the International Exhibition for Polyurethane Solutions offered an excellent platform for in-depth expert talks.
A total of 786 trade visitors from 51 countries came to the second edition of PSE to see new technology trends and PU applications in industrial manufacturing. 68 exhibitors from 12 countries represented a comprehensive cross-section of the PU processing industry. The visitors of PSE Europe 2019 came primarily from Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the Netherlands, France, and Poland. With a considerably high number of international visitors (42 %), PSE Europe impressed once again as an internationally recognised exhibition for polyurethane solutions. According to further results of the visitor analysis, the majority of visitors belonged to the automotive, plastics, chemicals, engineering, and construction / insulation industry sectors. Their main interests were PU systems, machinery and equipment, PU moulded parts, raw materials and auxiliaries as well as materials such as TPU, dispersions, and bio-based materials.
“Once again, PSE Europe 2019 provided a central platform that enables PU users from various industries to discuss and fully capitalise on the many application possibilities”, explains Ulika Tosner, Exhibition Director of PSE Europe, on behalf of the organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “Both exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied with their newly established business relations.”
The seminar programme recorded a high number of attendees and provided additional insights into major developments in PU processing as well as key strategies adopted by industry leaders to succeed and grow. The Feature Area, a dedicated on-site space, bridged theory and practice and gave visitors of PSE Europe a better understanding of how polyurethane solutions can turn into reality. The exhibits included a 6-meter-long roller shutter casing profile by Frimo, an insulating shell for district heating transfer stations with connect system provided by PCC Specialties as well as the visualisation of a recycling process of post-consumer PU foams and various end products by Nitroil.
According to the organiser, the exhibitors stated that they generated valuable contacts throughout the show and received positive business enquiries. Visiting companies included BMW, Porsche, VW, BASF, Birkenstock, Evonik, velux, Covestro, Faurecia, Dow, Saudi Aramco, Mann + Hummel, Kral, Greiner Aerospace, and many more.
