New polyetheramine range for pigment dispersions

Huntsman has introduced a range of polyetheramines called Surfonamine for the formulation of pigment dispersions and pigment pastes for industrial and consumer paint, ink and coating applications. They can be used for pigment modification and as stabilisation agents and dispersion aids. By adding a small amount of the new products during manufacturing, Huntsman says that it will be possible to produce formulations that have greater stability over time, better ink transfer and improved colour density. Additionally the additives do not impact on pigment colour or effectiveness.
