Innovative systems for fine straining of rubber compound from Uth

On occasion of Tire Technology Expo, which will take place in Cologne (13-15 March 2007) German Uth GmbH based in Fulda, will present fine mesh straining as an innovative solution within the rubber mixing line. In order to provide highest compound quality at a cost-efficient production process, the integration of a roll-ex gear extruder into the mixing line is the right solution, says the company. The roll-ex TRF range is especially designed for automatically operating straining process after the mill. A big advantage is the very short dwell time due to very small volume of compound within the processing unit. The system allows quick cleaning, important in case of frequent changes of compound. The throughput, depending on the operational capacity of the mixing line, amounts up to 6,000 kg/h. On basis of the modular designed roll-ex gear extruder system and many adaptable auxiliary systems, Uth says it can fulfil all customer requirements individually. Especially to mention is a newly designed cleaning system for the breaker plate as well as newly developed software systems, allowing comfortable documentation and analysis of process parameters.
