33rd Annual Meeting and Conference on Tire Science and Technology
The Tire Society is hosting its 33rd Annual Business Meeting and Conference on Tire Science and Technology from 8 – 10 September 2014 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, OH, USA. The organiser has issued a call for papers addressing innovations and developments in the following areas: tyre performance, tyre-vehicle system, emerging technologies, tyre road interaction, tyre materials, tyre industry trends and future. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 15 March 2014, the paper submission deadline is 1 August 2014. This conference is attended by engineers and scientists from the tyre and vehicle industries, academia, and government from around the world. In addition to technical sessions of submitted papers, the conference features a keynote address given by a corporate leader in the tyre industry, a plenary lecture given by a leading scientist, and an awards banquet with an after-dinner speaker. The International Tire Exhibition + Conference (ITEC) – Tire Manufacturing will take place concurrently from 9 – 11 September 2014 at the same venue. This event for the tyre manufacturing industry combines an exhibition with a technical programme and is hosted by Rubber & Plastics News, a Crain publication.
