As from 2014, RubberTech Europe, the new European trade fair relating to the stage before the tyre production, will be held parallel to the tyre exhibition Reifen from 27 – 30 May 2014 in Essen, Germany. Messe Essen GmbH and the China United Rubber Corporation (CURC) are the organisers. Both partners have already cooperated with each other since 2007 with regard to “Reifen China”. The new German-Chinese joint venture was introduced at RubberTech China + Reifen China 2013 in Shanghai. The exhibition portfolio of RubberTech Europe will include rubber chemicals and raw materials as well as testing machines and mechanical equipment for the tyre industry. Together, both events will portray the entire value added chain for everything to do with tyres: from the stage before the production via manufacture and trading right up to retreading and recycling. Around 670 exhibitors and 19,000 visitors are expected at Reifen, plus around 120 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors at RubberTech Europe.
