For the support of its department Marketing & Sales at our site in Essen we are looking for an
- Sales responsibility for all polyurethane additives within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Achieve sales targets by implementing strategies by direct account management
- Development and implementation of national sales plan
- Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial working business relationship with customers
- Coordinate with Key Account and Industry Team Leaders to establish and implement global market segment and key account strategies
- Gathering and reporting of market information
- Coordinate technical support initiatives for the defined region
- A degree qualified in the fields of chemistry or any similar qualification acquired owing to professional specialised training and experience
- Technical understanding is essential
- A minimum of 3 years professional sales experience in the chemical industry (specialty chemicals), preferably within the Polyurethane industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and distinctive ability to communicate
- Ability to work customer and team oriented
- Well-structured, autonomous as well as self dependent way of working
- Entrepreneurial and result-oriented thinking and acting
- Good command of the English and German language
- Faultless MS-Office literacy, ideally SAP and Lotus Notes skills
