The 13th annual Automotive TPO Global Conference, the leading automotive olefins forum sponsored by the Detroit Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), will be held 2 – 5 October 2011. For the first time in the event's history, this year's conference will be held at a new venue: the Troy-Marriott in Troy, MI, USA.

Since 1998, SPE volunteers have organised the conference to update attendees on the latest developments in rigid and elastomeric thermoplastic olefins. The show typically features 40+ technical presentations, panel discussions, keynote speakers, networking receptions, and exhibits that highlight advances in olefin materials, processes, and applications technologies as well as a growing range of TPEs and TPVs. Technical sessions on Materials Development, Polypropylene Compounds, Applications Development, Surface Enhancements, and TPO/TPE Interfaces are planned for this year's programme as well as a new session on Polyolefin Foam & Processes.
