The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is organising the first Asiatec, a technical conference designed as an Asian counterpart to Antec in North America. The Asiatec will take place 15 – 17 February 2011 in Tokyo, Japan. Session topics will include: nanotechnology, automotive composites, packaging, 'green' plastics and biomass plastics, medical plastics and bioplastics, poly­mer processing, engineering properties and structure, thermoplastic elastomers, optics and optical devices, and life-support plastics. The conference will be conducted in English.
