RFP Rubber Fibres Plastics is the international sister of the well-known GAK Gummi Fasern Kunststoffe. This magazine was created in 1948 and since that time it delivers monthly practical and application orientated information to the German speaking rubber industry as well as to the thermoplast and fibres industry.
Since several years these industries as well as nearly all other industry branches undergo dramatic changes. We have seen that even more than in Germany the rubber and plastics processors in the markets in Asia, the Near and Middle East as well as in Central and Eastern Europe especially require the type of information we provide with GAK. That’s why we decided to launch RFP.
RFP is a technical magazine dedicated to the polymer industry with a main focus on rubber. It stands for practical and application-orientated topics relevant to polymer processors and their suppliers. It contains scientific and technical reports, that deal with raw materials, applications, measuring and controlling and also supplies information regarding machinery, equipment, organisation and quality assurance.
In 2001, we launched a new magazine in Germany dealing with all the different aspects of the polyurethane business. We saw that this special theme of the polymer industry is growing tremendously and will continue to do so in the future because of the great variety of this fascinating material. So there should be a high demand for serious technical information.
The German polyurethane magazine has found its audience and is widely read by experts and technicians in the European PU industry. Most of our readers come from the automotive, construction, shoe and furniture industries. But there are also raw material suppliers and machinery engineers among them. As we had good success with our concept of both technical and application oriented coverage, many prospective buyers asked for an international edition. That’s why we launched the international project.
TPE Magazine international is the first and only magazine worldwide dedicated exclusively to thermoplastic elastomers and the industries involved in TPE production and processing.
This includes the raw material suppliers and compounders, machinery suppliers and the processors of TPE materials. The centrepiece are papers on latest scientific and technical developments.
Along with these come latest company and product news, reports about trade shows and conferences, events, personnel changes, book reviews, and market reports.
