The next International Rubber Conference (IRC) will be held under the theme “Green – Innovation – Development” from 16 – 18 September 2014 at the International Convention Center in Beijing, China. The event is held annually on a rotating basis by about 20 rubber societies, divisions, and institutes in various countries worldwide. The IRC was previously hosted in China in the years 1992 and 2004. The three-day event comprises of a congress and an exhibition and is being organised by the Rubber Institute of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) under the aegis of the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO). The IRC 2014 is sponsored by the Beijing Research and Design Institute of Rubber Industry (BRDI). The conference will discuss scientific and technical research, rubber production and applications, as well as market determining forces. The organisers have issued a call for papers. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 31 January 2014.
