At the end of July, antitrust authorities in the EU and in the UsA searched several manufacturers of flexible PU foam. the latter are suspected of having entered into prohibited collusions, which could result in high fines. these investigations demonstrate that antitrust law can be a substantial risk for companies, officers and employees. they should familiarise themselves with the basic rules of antitrust law, in order to avoid unnecessary risks and to be able to react correctly to possible investigations.
