Michelin North America Inc. has begun production of its X-One wide single truck tyre at its Canadian Waterville, Nova Scotia Plant, after of a USD 82 million plant expansion announced in early 2006.

Ford Motor Co. and Bentley Motors Ltd. are recalling vehicles because of wheel problems, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The new “ultraflex” tyre technology from Michelin has been recognized as one of the top innovations of the past year by agricultural journal "Farm Industry News" and its readers, the company said.
