Elkem Silicones, a division of the Elkem Group, has launched the two new tyre release agents Lyndcoat BR2105 and Lyndcoat BR2205. According to the company, the products were designed to deliver a clean, durable and slip providing multi-release technology. By reducing build-up in the spray cabin, on the bladders, on base rings and moulds, the release agents are said to provide the conditions needed for a clean tyre production. Elkem said the products allow for low scrap rates and press downtimes, increased productivity and quality results, thereby providing significant savings.
