The Board of Hexpol AB and CEO and President Mikael Fryklund have decided to part ways. The company said several circumstances have led to this change and that the development of the group, mainly regarding sales growth and growth of results, lately didn’t met the expectations. The recruitment of a successor has started immediately after the announcement on 14 February. In the meantime CFO Peter Rosén will be interim CEO of Hexpol AB with daily support of Georg Brunstam, who will act as working Chairman of the Board.

Dr. Frank Stieler resigned from his office as CEO of KraussMaffei Group GmbH on 31 March 2020 and Dr. Michael Ruf, former COO of the company, has taken over the position effective from 1 April 2020. The COO position will not be taken again, announced the company.

Black Bear, the Dutch ELT rubber upcycling company, has appointed Victor Vreeken as its new Chief Technology Officer. Victor Vreeken will lead the Black Bear’s efforts to scale-up and globally roll-out the company’s innovative circular technology to convert tire rubber into recovered carbon black, gas and biogenic oil. Before joining Black Bear, Vreeken spent over eight years at Avantium, active in the emerging industry of renewable and sustainable chemistry.
