The polymer powders are on vinyl copolymer basis and can be used in a variety of applications such as tile adhesives, plaster, mortars or exterior insulation & finishing systems.

The Coating Additives Business Line of Evonik has extended its existing partnership with international specialty chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan regarding the Tego additives products. Safic-Alcan SAS and Safic-Alcan Necarbo B.V. will be provided with the complete coating additives range of Evonik allowing customers to be supplied by a single distributor in France and the BeNeLux region. In addition, the agreement also extends to Safic-Alcan UK for the distribution of the liquid additives in the UK and Ireland.

Azelis announced that it has acquired 100 % of Chemroy Canada Holdings Inc., a Canadian distributor of speciality chemicals and food ingredients. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Chemroy was founded in 1967 and has 59 employees. Headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, Chemroy offers warehousing across Canada and has further offices in Laval, Quebec and Vancouver, British Colombia.
