Johns Manville offers new open-cell SPF for air barrier protection

Johns Manville, Denver, CO, USA, a leading US building products manufacturer has recently launched an open cell SPF suitable for commercial and residential use as a seamless air barrier.

Mould and mildew resistant, it offers acoustic insulation and provides an R value of 3.8 at 1 inch (2.5 cm) thickness and an R value of 19 when used at thickness or 5.5 inches (16 cm). Formulated with 100 % reactive catalysts to minimise emissions during spraying the product results in lower odours and improved installer safety.
