The Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) in Industry and the Skilled Crafts at RWTH Aachen University will host the first International Injection Moulding Conference from 2. – 3. December 2014 in Aachen, Germany. National and international experts from across the injection moulding industry will report on application-oriented developments, research results, and innovative examples from industrial mass production. The event will focus on the use of injection moulding technology and process combinations in the automotive industry. It will address in particular two key technologies, the injection moulding of optical components for lighting applications and the recent developments in lightweight construction with plastics.
