Production of multi-functional parts using hard-soft composite technology

Multi-functional components can be produced very economically through the integration of several processing steps. A key factor is multi-component injection
moulding with short, coordinated cycle times for the materials used.
For example, to produce fluid containers with directly moulded rubber gaskets, thermoplastics such as polyamide and PBT, which are dimensionally stable at high temperatures, are combined with a crosslinking rubber component.
