Keyuan to build new SBS production plant
According to Keyuan, the new plant will add 70 kt/y of SBS production capacity. The company expects the SBS facility to be completed in the second half of 2011. The total cost of the SBS facility will be approximately USD 17.5 million. China’s current production capacity of SBS is approximately 600 kt/y while domestic demand is projected to reach 750 kt in 2010.
