Hennecke: A new concept in dosing equipment

Hennecke GmbH has been developing polyurethane processing machinery and equipment for over 60 years. At this year’s K trade fair in Düsseldorf, the long-established company, headquartered in Sankt Augustin near Bonn, Germany, will present new machinery concepts and further developments in the area of state-of-the-art and established processing technologies. Based on the new Hennecke motto „Fascination PUR“, innovative samples and targeted solution expertise will be the key factors in convincing interested visitors of the benefits of Hennecke machinery.

During K 2010 the company will present new products in the field of metering technology, including a newcomer within the Qfoam series. The XL version stands out for its considerably enhanced scope of equipment even for special applications. This guarantees added value for the user and makes the extremely compact machine an ideal alternative to low-pressure systems, says the company.

The Qfoam machine range was launched by Hennecke in the year 2009. The machine concept comprises an air-cleaned MXL mixhead and tried and tested metering technology from the BaseLine and TopLine series. This combination offers precise component metering and very good mixing quality. The output can range from 100?–?1,500 g/s depending on the size of the machine. The hand-operated mixhead is used for cold-curing flexible foam, compact systems, filling foam, integral skin foam, energy-absorbing foam and rigid insulating foam. Thanks to the compact structure and plug-and-play installation that is typical for Hennecke, Qfoam can easily and rapidly be integrated into the production process.

When it comes to processing PU casting elastomers, Hennecke will introduce the Elastoline F which has a flexible and modular design adaptable to the needs of each user. The new machine concept was first presented by Hennecke at the Elastoline Days at the company's headquarters in June. Thanks to its modular setup of the metering lines and its compact design, it offers enough room for customised order adjustments and subsequent modifications. A highlight is the mixhead technology that is equipped with a hydraulic control system for short switching cycles and good metering quality right from the factory.

Hennecke will also present information about various trend-setting technologies where PU processors will learn about new possibilities and areas of application. Hennecke will display its products and technologies over two floors. On the ground floor, there will be a number of practical samples while upstairs, an international team of experts from all areas of application will be available for customer meetings.
