Mitsubishi expand TPO and adhesive polymers production in China and North America

In response to growing demand, Mitsubishi Chemical will expand the production facilities for olefin thermoplastic elastomers and adhesive polymers in China and North America, with a total investment of ca. JPY 700 million.

In China the facility is located in Suzhou. Mitsubishi said it will install a capacity of 4,500 t/y. The completion is expected for May 2012. In the US capacities at the site in Greer, SC, will be increased from current 9,200 t/y to 11,000 t/y. The completion here is expected for November 2011.
